On the top of the digital water tester, you will see a compartment which you can fill with the water that you wish to test. Thanks to the waterproof qualities of the tester, you can simply scoop up water from the swimming pool.
Next, close the compartment and press ZERO/TEST. You will then carry out a zero calibration measurement.
Using the MODE button, you can select the testing parameter. Add the correct tablet to the water and let it dissolve, using the stirrer. Close the compartment again and press ZERO/TEST again.
Within 15 seconds you can read the values on the screen. After this, rinse out the tester and dry it off to keep it as well maintained as possible.
The measurement takes place using photometric principles. By adding the tablet, the water takes on a characteristic colour. This is how the tester can then ascertain the correct result.
