Bottom drains are absolutely necessary in a built-in swimming pool. For both the heating system and the filter installation it is important that you install at least one bottom outlet.
The bottom drain ensures that the pool water not picked up by the skimmers still enters the filter circuit. Thanks to this bottom drainage all the water is filtered, not just the water at the surface.
Because heating takes place after filtering, the bottom vacuum also influences the heating of the water.
