Using this electronic water tester, you can easily measure the pH value of swimming pool water.
An ideal pH value is between 7.0 and 7.6. A too high or too low value can lead to a disturbed water balance or green pool water.
Acidity is the most important parameter for the pool.
This digital measuring instrument is easy to use and has a clearly readable display.
Operation is via a single button and the device switches off automatically.
The tester runs on 1 AAA battery.
Measurement procedure:
1. Press the button to switch on the meter. The display shows 'ADD', 'C1' and 'PRESS'. The meter is ready to measure.
2. Fill the cuvette with 10ml of the sample (up to the line). Place the cuvette in the meter and close the lid.
3. Press the button again. The display will show 'ADD', 'C2' and 'PRESS'. The meter is now set to zero = 'ZERO'.
4. Remove the cuvette from the meter and add 5 drops of reagent to the cuvette.
5. Then invert 5x so that the reagent dissolves.
6. Reinsert the cuvette into the meter and close the lid.
7. Press the button. The measured value is displayed on the screen.
The water tester will automatically switch off after 10 minutes.
