AquaChek Yellow 4-in-1 test strips

The AquaChek Yellow 4-in-1 test strips offer a fast, easy and accurate way of testing pool water. The Aquachek test strips are the world's most commonly used test strips for pools and spas. They can be used to measure pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity and cyanuric acid, all in one go. After 15 seconds, you can compare the colours on the test strip with those on the packaging.

It is very important to measure these values. A correct pH value makes for pleasant swimming and ensures that other maintenance products do their work effectively. If the pH value is more than 7.6 or less than 7.2, you should add the appropriate pH product.

Chlorine disinfects your pool and results in bright water. It is clear that this value should be checked as well. The ideal chlorine level is indicated in detail on the packaging.

Total alkalinity is important for the stability of the pH level. If the total alkalinity is too low, the pH level will fluctuate excessively. 

An ideal cyanuric acid level prevents excessive loss of chlorine due to the sun. These last 2 parameters are, however, of secondary importance; everything begins with correct pH and chlorine levels.
