Manual Anti Algae 5 liter
If you have algae in your water, first apply a shock treatment by adding chlorine granules. Then apply 500 ml O-Clear per 50 m³ pool water directly by spreading it across the water surface.
The O-Clear causes the dirt to clump together and the algae to sink to the bottom. The algae can then be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner.
It is important to keep the sand filter running at all times; continuous filtering will also ensure that the dirt dissolves more quickly. Always check the packaging for the proper dose and follow the safety instructions.
Caution: Never mix this product with any other products as this could result in the release of hazardous (chlorine) gases. Keep closed and store in a cool, dry place.
Manual chlorine granules
Before you add the chlorine granules, check the pH value of your water, which should be between pH 7.2 and 7.6. If necessary, add pH-min or pH-plus.
Dissolve the granules in a bucket before distributing it evenly across the entire water surface. Preferably open the pack in the open air but out of the wind.
If shock treatment is required, add 3 to 4 measuring cups of 40gr per 10 m³ water. For regular maintenance, you only need to add 1 measuring cup of 40gr per 10 m³. Ideally, the product should be added after swimming or in the evening. Also make sure the water is filtered after you have added the chlorine. This will make the chlorine more effective.
Check the chlorine content of your water at regular intervals, preferably weekly. The ideal value lies between 1 and 2 mg per litre water (> 1 ppm and < 2 ppm). Use one of our test kits to perform this check.
Manual Socks
Before getting started with flocculant, check the pH and chlorine levels of the pool. Place one cartouche/hull/sleeve in each skimmer or 1 per 25m³. The flocculant will aggregate the very smallest dirt particles into large flakes. These can then be absorbed in the filter system or fall down to the bottom of the pool after which you can vacuum them up.
