Digital testers

There are quite a few differences within our range of digital testers. The Aquachek digital tester, for example, uses test strips that must first be immersed in the water and then inserted into the tester. The tester then displays a value. However, this value may deviate slightly from the effective value. For the chlorine value, a margin of 0.2 pH or ppm should be taken into account. This tester therefore primarily provides an estimate of the chlorine and the pH.

Lovibond, a German brand, has developed the Scuba II digital tester. This water quality tester uses test tablets; the method is slightly more complex but invariably produces correct results. In terms of value for money, this is a better purchase than the Aquachek digital tester. That is why we recommend this electronic tester to all our customers.

There is also the Blue by Riiot digital tester. This tester uses a sensor to measure the water quality to 3 digits after the decimal point.  In addition, this digital tester communicates with your smartphone using the corresponding app. If you don't have a smartphone, you can simply view the water quality via their website.

The Blue has the big advantage that it not only displays the values but also provides an action plan to adjust the water quality. Maintaining your swimming pool has never been easier.
