The HTH chlorine sticks disinfect the pool water. HTH tablets combat bacteria, viruses, fungicide and algae and are suitable for private swimming pools.
Advantages:
These 300-gram chlorine sticks contain non-stabilised or inorganic chlorine. Therefore, you should not use this chlorine in combination with other chlorine products.
The cylindrical chlorine sticks from HTH have a unique patented plastic covering. This prevents you from coming into direct contact with the chlorine stick.
Furthermore, it prevents the chlorine tablet from dissolving too quickly. The chlorine dissolves gradually, ensuring longer and more efficient chlorination of the pool.
Conventional disinfection with chlorine not only has a bactericidal effect, it also removes non-filterable organic impurities by means of oxidation. Conventional disinfection with chlorine is still the most reliable option, especially if water pollution is particularly high (e.g. at temperatures above 28°C or from severe pollution).
HTH chlorine is calcium hypochlorite and is also called inorganic chlorine or non-stabilised chlorine. HTH chlorine has the highest concentration of active chlorine on the market (at least 65%) and does not contain any inhibiting stabilisers. The purpose of stabilisers is to slow down the breakdown of the active chlorine by the sun; however, they block the operation at excessive concentrations.
A known problem with frequent use of the typical 200-gram chlorine tablets is that the pool water becomes over-stabilised with cyanuric acid (stabiliser). This causes the disinfection process to be blocked, with the risk of green water. HTH chlorine products do away with this problem and the chlorine is always actively available.
Do not mix with any other product. Do not dissolve for use.
